MY HEART IS BIG ENOUGH

Syrian borders. 2008-2015

During the last seven years, Ardanaz has gone across the borders in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq, carrying with her a photographic portable laboratory and reaching unexplored places to portray invisible people that had never appeared in the medias. His intention is to capture the dignity and pride transmitted by these individuals forgotten by the medias, the power and the rest of society. From this philosophy, her work “My hearth is big enough”, is born.

"The earth is already bleeding too many wounds to have artists suddenly go blind and start ignoring the crimes against humanity that are constantly performed under the banner of market economy and on behalf of the consumer society, and be content to simply liven up the entertainment industry and provide luxury articles."
